Anaheim police have arrested a guy suspected of raping a woman at knifepoint.
REPORT: A man suspected of breaking into a home in Anaheim and raping a woman at knifepoint inside her own home has been arrested.
The attack happened about 10:45 p.m. Monday night. After entering the home through an unlocked door, the guy raped the woman, who was home alone watching television.
After the attack, he fled on foot.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez says they searched the area near the Briarvale Avenue home after the attack last night, but came up empty. About 5:00a.m. Tuesday morning, investigators picked up a Filipino man in his 40s who matched most of the woman's description.
He was arrested for the rape a few hours later.
